Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Southern Eye Care of Flowood a proud provider of vision care products and services in Flowood.


Dr. Jordan Ladnier

Dr. Jordan Ladnier is a residency-trained optometrist and native of Hattiesburg, MS. She is a member of the Mississippi Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Alabama at Birmingham with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology.

Dr. Ladnier graduated Magna Cum Laude from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN, receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree (O.D.). While there, she was a member of the Mississippi State Club, Private Practice Club, and Beta Sigma Kappa honor society. She received clinical experience during her rotations at Milan Eye Center in Cumming, GA and Family Vision Clinic in Magee, MS. At these rotations she gained valuable experience in the management of post-surgical care, as well as numerous ocular diseases such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye disease, keratoconus, and corneal disorders.

After receiving her Doctor of Optometry degree, Dr. Ladnier was accepted into the UAB Cornea and Contact Lens residency program, during which she gained hands-on experience with specialty contact lenses. These contact lenses include toric and multifocal soft lenses, as well as custom-made soft lenses, corneal rigid gas permeable lenses, and scleral lenses. Dr. Ladnier is experienced in prescribing contact lenses for various corneal diseases, as well as optimizing vision with healthy eyes.

Dr. Ladnier enjoys spending time with her family and is looking forward to becoming more involved in the Greater Jackson and Flowood communities.
